Ever wondered what happens when a bunch of science-loving Czech students get together to tackle real-world problems? We’re a team of 12 people from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, diving headfirst into the world of biosensors as part of the SensUs Competition 2025, participating for the second time. 

Our squad is a mix of undergrads and grads from different fields—chemical engineering, biotech, materials chemistry, and beyond. This means we bring all kinds of ideas to the table, which means that things can get pretty creative! The journey is not easy, but we’re fueled by curiosity, caffeine, and a shared goal: making impact in medicine regarding kidney health.
