TUcanSense

As a team representing Technische Universität Darmstadt, we are thrilled to participate in this year’s SensUs Student Competition. Our motivation stems from a shared passion for innovation in healthcare technology and a strong desire to make a real impact. Acute kidney injury is a pressing medical challenge, and we are determined to develop a biosensor that enhances early detection and patient outcomes. 

Our diverse team, consisting of 12 dedicated bachelor's and master's students, brings expertise from biomedical engineering, mechatronics, electrical and mechanical engineering, and synthetic biology. By combining our knowledge and skills, we aim to create a highly sensitive, reliable, and user-friendly biosensor. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, continuous research, and hands-on experimentation, we strive to push the boundaries of biosensing technology.
