The SensUs Event
is coming near!

In two days, the SensUs Event, the day we have all been waiting for, will take place on Friday, September 3rd! We as the SensUs Organization have been working toward this Event the whole year and could not be more excited. Of course, you can make this day even better by joining our online SensUs Event 2021.

This year, the whole Event revolves around inventing a rapid, accurate, and creative biosensor to detect influenza in saliva. In the future, these biosensors can help overcome the next flu pandemic. The Teams have been very busy with this assignment and we are looking forward to seeing their results. On Friday the Teams will give pitches explaining their biosensor innovations.

Even though this year we are having an online edition, the Teams will be able to test their biosensor thanks to the Distributed Testing Event taking place Wednesday. The Teams will then test their biosensors at the labs at their own university. The best performing Teams will be rewarded with an award from one of the following categories: Analytical Performance, Creativity, Translation Potential and Public Inspiration. On Friday, it will get really interesting for all of you: a day filled with pitches of the Teams, an interesting Keynote lecture from Bart van Meerbergen, a festive award ceremony, and a connecting network drink.
