We are a team of passionate students from DTU, competing in SensUs 2025 to develop a biosensor for early Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) detection. AKI affects millions worldwide, and early diagnosis is key to preventing severe complications.

Our approach? We’re using Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) as biorecognition elements to create a highly specific and stable biosensor for detecting creatinine in interstitial skin fluid. But we’re not stopping there - we’re also exploring the concept of a wearable sensor, bringing innovation to continuous health monitoring.

By combining advanced materials and biosensing strategies, we aim to push the boundaries of AKI detection and improve patient care. Stay tuned as we share our journey toward making real-world impact!
