The Theme
Interleukin-6 is a biomarker for acute inflammation and it can reach high concentrations in case of sepsis, a life-threatening condition triggered by infection. Therefore, IL-6 is an important marker for early diagnosis and monitoring of sepsis.
The Organization
SensUs is organized for students by students. The Organization of SensUs consists of motivated students from different fields at the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. Each member joined for a different goal, but all members want to contribute to the future of health. Our organization has been founded by professor Menno Prins.
