The Theme
The theme of SensUs 2021 was acute respiratory viruses. The Covid-19 pandemic made it apparent that large virus outbreaks can cause immense harm to human health and can disrupt society as a whole. One of the most common respiratory viruses is influenza A. Biosensors for the detection of influenza A could help to prevent the spread of this virus.
The Organization
SensUs is organized for students by students. The Organization of SensUs consists of motivated students from different fields at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Each member has joined for a different goal, but all members want to contribute to the future of health. Our Organization has been founded by professor Menno Prins.
